Here’s a novel approach masterminded by Mark & James Charteris to help with the lack of printed grid position sheets at Snetterton.
It certainly helped alleviate green flag grid mix ups. However, even on this ‘driver only’ line up there were still some issues !
Clive Wood practiced a jump start from the back of the grid and Adrian Holey was missing ! This allowed over zealous B Sport drivers to creep into his space – some things never change !!
James Charteris is available on a consultancy basis to assist other formulas which appeared to be experiencing grid problems too Haha.
Here is a delighted Colin Ralph ( B Class Mallock Mk18 ) receiving the first of the BMTR Avon sponsored tyres at our meeting at Snetterton.
BMTR Avon have kindly donated 4 tyres to Classic Clubmans to be awarded to the driver who excels himself at driving during our races this year.
Peter Hackett presented the tyre on behalf of BMTR Avon.
Tyre number 2 will be awarded at our next meeting – the double header at Cadwell Park on Sunday 6th June.
