Hi Classic Clubmans drivers,
We are half way through our Classic Clubmans 2022 Championship season and the racing has been excellent with our level of car preparation and driving standards continuing to impress.
Unfortunately our grid sizes are down compared with last year. We are, however, living in unprecedented times and when this championship calendar was completed high inflation, rising fuel costs and a war in Europe were not factors for consideration. For these reasons the second half of the season may be challenging for competitors and racing clubs alike.
Our Classic Clubmans formula needs us all to help, where we can, to boost the number of entries for the three race meetings still to come.
The second half of the Championship programme is as follows:
OULTON PARK INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT SATURDAY 6TH AUGUST
15 mins qualifying 2 x 20 min races all on same day
CROFT NOSTALGIA FESTIVAL SATURDAY & SUNDAY 3 – 4TH SEPT
15 mins qualifying 2 x 20 min races over the two days
SILVERSTONE CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER
15 mins qualifying 1 x 20 min race all on one day
The HSCC has made a huge effort to keep race entry fees down to 2021 levels. This is quite a commitment from them, particularly in the current financial climate, and is a big benefit to us all.
Let’s all make an effort to enter the remaining races – every single entry will really help CLASSIC CLUBMANS now and in the future.
