2020 Season Prelude

Hi Everybody,

Hard to believe it but we are just a month away from our first HSCC Classic Clubmans championship round !

This is our 7th Championship season with the HSCC and promises to be a another excellent year.

With 6 double headers at various circuits plus a trip ‘abroad’ (full details later this month).

We start the season at Snetterton 300 circuit on April 4-5, with 2x 20 minute races.  that’’s  practice and race Saturday and a second race Sunday. 

This meeting marks the start of the HSCC re-creating the ‘Formula Ford festival’ which spent its first 3 years at Snetterton,  before moving to Brands Hatch.  the ‘Jim Russell trophy’ meeting will become a regular date on the HSCC calendar.

With Classic Clubmans now an established championship  within the HSCC, racing a period Clubmans car in historic racing is attracting a much broader interest and its great to welcome  several new drivers joining us this season.

Its worth mentioning that multiple a class, B Sport and Sports 2000 champions are moving into F2, Atlantic and Thundersports this year which means all class championships could be up for grabs !!

Please get your entries in and we hope to see many of you at Snetterton and  remember that any period bodied Clubmans car can come and join us in our invitation class and experience historic racing at its very best.
